The DEMAZET VIGNOBLES terroir lies to the east of Avignon in the Rhône Valley. It is the southernmost vineyard on the left bank of the Rhône in the Gadagne Côtes-du-Rhône Villages and Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. It stretches from Fontaine-de-Vaucluse to the outskirts of Avignon, on a hillside extending from the village of Caumont-sur-Durance to the village of Vedène.

"Welcome to our home,
welcome to Demazet Vignobles"
On the outskirts of Avignon, we are proud to reveal the Gadagne appellation, the DNA of our House, recognized as Gadagne Côtes du Rhône Villages since 2012 and the flagship of our production. It comes from noble terroirs, rich in the famous Miocene rolled pebbles, the same as those for which Châteauneuf-du-Pape is famous.
We create wines that are sunny, greedy, generous in aroma and reasonably powerful. Our ranges of Gadagne Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Côtes-du-Rhône, Igp Méditerranée, Igp Alpilles and other appellations vinified by our partner winemakers are varied and appeal to the widest possible range of palates, both French and foreign.
Demazet Vignobles is also about committed wines, made from traceable terroirs, some of which are cultivated using sustainable methods, others with the HVE (high environmental value) label, not forgetting those that are certified organic. We care for our heritage, and are committed to preserving the richness and quality of our terroirs for future generations.

An commited team
Since 1925, the men and women of Demazet Vignobles have been combining their know-how and passion for the vines on their land to the east of Avignon, one of the most prestigious in the Rhône Valley, to offer you authentic, exceptional wines.
Since its creation, the winery, located in the commune of Morières-Lès-Avignon, has produced mainly AOC Côtes-du-Rhône and AOC Côtes-du-Rhône Villages. In 2012, the winegrowers saw their tenacity rewarded in terms of quality by gaining recognition for part of their terroir with the birth of the AOC Gadagne Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appellation.
With more than 76 winegrowers, the vineyard covers some 500 hectares, 457 of which are AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) and 43 are IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée). Average annual production is around 20,000 hl,of which 16,000 hl is AOC (79% red, 14% rosé and 7% white).

The Demazet la Cave team welcomes you to its atypical tasting area and boutique, located in the former harvest reception facility of the winery in Morières-Lès-Avignon, where you can buy wines as well as many other local products and regional specialities.
